Robert Kroese

Robert Kroese is the author of 38 novels, including the Mercury, Rex Nihilo, Saga of the Iron Dragon, Land of Dis, and Ransom's Law series. His work blends science fiction, fantasy, satire, apocalyptic adventure, and whatever else the algorithms insist he should not mix.

A former software developer and lifelong collector of useless information, Kroese began writing fiction seriously after years of making poor career choices and excellent jokes. His debut novel, Mercury Falls, introduced readers to Mercury, a badly behaved angel with good intentions and a gift for making the apocalypse more complicated.

Kroese is also the founder of BasedCon. His latest series is Ransom's Law, continuing his tradition of fast, funny, strange, and slightly dangerous adventure stories.
